I have tried to cook, once upon a time. When we moved from our in laws to our little abode now, I tried to cook for my little family of three. Just like a soldier that’s going to a battle I prepared myself – I bought cooking book, armed myself with recipes by grabbing them online. I was overwhelmed.
I tried cooking afritada, mechado, chicken curry, sinigang, paksiw, adobo, fried this and that – I became a trying hard chef for almost two months or so. I stop all of a sudden when I realized that husband cooks better than I do, hihih.
Every weekends, he would cook delicious meals without recipe book! And he ain’t a cook either, he cook by trusting his instincts, imagination and taste buds. And every time he cooks, we had a full stomach right after. So I gave up. The kitchen is his from then on!
But sometimes I still cook our breakfast OR my comfort food, that dish I can perfect with all honesty! So ask me about my cooking background and I’ll tell you that I am good at frying, sautéing and that’s it! But yeah, I can still cook just give me my cook book and I will still try! ^_^

Bru, i don't need a recipe book… sometimes I just ask for d ingredients of a certain dish and try cooking it in "pacham"… so far, so good… hehe!
