Green Backyard

If you have spacious backyard and turn a big chunk of your lot into a storage area, then, you might want to reconsider something valuable of the space. Incline yourself into being green and put up a vegetable garden. It may take time and effort to maintain a couple of plots of veggies but it is worth the wait.

Consider the plants you want to keep, it may not be in time for the season. However, since this is a small-scale gardening, you may select seedlings that grow throughout the year. Also, prepare the soil for planting. Remove the wild grasses and weeds. Make sure that gravels and stones are taken away.

Once everything is set and planted, monitor the regular watering of the plants. Put fertilizers, if you want. Soon, you will be surprised that you are preparing your food without spending, just a visit to your green backyard.
