North Park Lunch

We had lunch at North Park for the birthday celebration of one of my officemates. As usual, we feast on the usual dishes we love… (will post all the yummy pictures soon!)

And the meal would not be complete without our favorite Yang Chow. This rice is one of my favorite ever – I could eat this without any viand at all. Sometimes I dream I am eating this while counting some swimming pool pump on the side. It’s good that whenever I miss eating Yang Chow, Chowking already has their affordable version.

My Version of Buttered Shrimp

Craving for husband’s buttered shrimp last night and since I can’t wait any longer for husband to arrive, I prepared this very easy dish for my daughter and I, my version of Buttered Shrimp.

So easy to prepare, just let the shrimp simmer with margarine! Try it. Just yummmmy.

Ask me to choose between pancit and spaghetti and without a second thought I would choose PANCIT! I guess I have acquired the taste and started loving pancit ever since I was young and when my mother would cook delicious pancit with lots of liver, fish balls and vegetables.

It’s like forgetting my name and I need to wear sparx helmets every time there’s pancit at home! Monthly now, we’re looking forward to the 12th of the month, where we celebrate Yani’s birthday. It’s the big day we get to taste our favorite Pancit!

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Few weeks before Mother’s Day, for sure children and husband’s alike are busy looking for some unique mday gifts or the best mother’s day gift ever! This shall be my 5th year celebrating this occasion and seriously, gifts don’t matter to me. I wouldn’t say NO to gift but I prefer receiving cards, hugs and kisses from my daughters.

But I would not let the occasion pass by without giving gifts to my hero, my mother. Mother’s day for me is giving back to all the hardships and sacrifices she has done in my life. Now am thinking of a gift that could paint a smile to her and my mother-in law. If I have to list down all the mothers I know, it would mean mother’s day gift shopping! Let’s see what my little budget could do this year

Pizzaville 30inches Pizza

My officemate ordered for a 30inches Pizza from Pizzaville on her birthday. I ordered the same for husband’s birthday celebration at his work this Friday and wonder how big it look like in actual.

But I was able to taste it, and unlike Yellow Cab’s oily pizza, this one tastes like Greenwich and Lotsa Pizza.
